Adam Castle is an artist-filmmaker, curator, events producer, and performer .

I won the Leadership Award at the Creative Edinburgh Awards 2016 for his work on Pollyanna and EAMIF. “This award recognises an outstanding individual for their leadership and contribution to their sector, or the creative industries as a whole.

EAMIF
I founded and directed the Edinburgh Artists’ Moving Image Festival, a festival event celebrating video art, experimental film and films made by artists.

Pollyanna
I am the found and director of Pollyanna, a late-night cabaret held at Paradise Palms in Edinburgh. Hosted by feral queer creature Pollyfilla, the night is a showcase of performance art, drag, cabaret and queer and alternative performance.

Films
My films feature characters giving orders and instructions, playing out repetitive romances and using music and movement to perform to control each other.
