Pollyanna

I am the directer of Pollyanna, an arts company producing queer cabaret theatre since 2015, and now developing a major film and art projects. We run showcase cabaret theatre nights where I host as Pollyfilla, a feral queer creature. Held at Paradise Palms bar in Edinburgh, the night is a messy-with-some-glitz showcase of performance art, drag, cabaret acts and queer and alternative performance. Pollyanna began with monthly nights, before becoming a full Edinburgh Fringe show, with six years under its belt 2015-2020. I won Creative Edinburgh’s Leadership Award 2016 for my work on Pollyanna and EAMIF.

THE SCOTSMAN
“It’s packed and noisy, rowdy and messy, queerly experimental and reassuringly different – a welcome reminder that the Fringe is not only the place to catch a hot ticket or see a famous face but also to take a chance on the weird, the wild and the Weetabix, and then keep on dancing.”
